“The Tradition Continues - Spartan Football”, with “Foreword” written by George Blaha, and comments by Tom Izzo, is a Limited Edition Classic Spartan Illustrated history book. Scheduled for release in the fall of 2008, it covers the three Eras of Aggie/Spartan Football; M.A.C., MSC, and MSU. Over 124 years of football highlights are documented with 1900 illustrations, in this fully colored 600 page document. Spartan Fans have never seen many of the items revealed in this book.
Photos of the New Duffy Daugherty Building, recollections and feelings of past Spartan football players, in the chapter on “The Walk”, and transformations making up “Spartan Traditions” are included.
All bowl teams, championship teams and individual recognitions are highlighted. Also included are all team photos and rosters from 1884.
“The Tradition Continues- Spartan Football” is a must for all Spartan Fans.
All proceeds from the sales of this book are donated by the authors to Michigan State University and are designated for the Spartan Football Program.
